About Pi Squared
Pi Squared is a groundbreaking company dedicated to advancing verifiable computing through cutting-edge zero-knowledge technology. The company recently secured $12.5 million in a seed funding round led by Polychain Capital. The funding will fuel the development and launch of innovative products aimed at revolutionizing blockchain transactions and remote computing.
Funding and Investors
Polychain Capital spearheaded the $12.5 million seed round investment in Pi Squared. Other notable participants include ABCDE, Bloccelerate, Generative Ventures, Robot Ventures, and Samsung Next. Additionally, renowned individuals such as Justin Drake from the Ethereum Foundation and Sreeram Kanaan, the founder of EigenLayer, joined as angel investors in support of Pi Squared’s vision.
Product Offerings
Pi Squared’s flagship product, the “Universal Settlement Layer,” is designed to streamline blockchain transactions, referred to as “claims,” in any programming language. Moreover, the company is working on the development of the “Universal ZK Circuit,” leveraging zero-knowledge technology to facilitate trustless remote computing, AI integration, and interoperable smart contracts across various blockchain platforms and decentralized applications (dApps).
Future Prospects
At present, Pi Squared is in the proof-of-concept phase, with plans to launch a testnet by the end of 2024. The company’s ambitious goal is to establish a universal and compact ZK circuit that verifies the integrity of mathematical proofs, offering verifiable-computing correctness assurances to different programming languages and virtual machines without requiring translation to a common language or instruction set architecture.
